My goodness, it’s my turn again. It’s been a bit of a long time – so much so that I have almost forgotten how to blog.
So, that was Mummy Mentoring Month, and I hope that you agree its been an absolute cornucopia of good and interesting posts. I hope that you have all been informed, delighted and entertained, as I have, and I just wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone who took part this year.
I could take things the wrong way of course – I stop blogging for one month and my readership stats nearly double…… a girl could go off in a huff and sit in the cormer and sulk. But I choose to see the positive side – what this tells me is that Motivating Mum works well as a collaborative effort – it makes the blog interesting and lively and the readers love it.
Several of the writers this month have asked me if they could contribute regular articles to Motivating Mum. So let me put on record that the answer is a resounding yes. I would love to feature regular correspondents (say one post a month) provided that they are parents running small businesses and that the subjects they are writing about are informative and relevant (not salesy or spammy). I would love regular coaching tips, networking advice, social media news, or any other business-related specialist subject that you would like to demonstrate your knowledge in.
I am also happy to post regular profiles of mumpreneurs, successful or just starting out, and any interesting tales of your business (big successes, resounding failures with lessons learned) that you would like to share with me. And I’m also hoping to feature some news and pictures from Motivating Mum branches up and down the country (got some good interest at the moment so look out for some new branches popping up in the next few months!)
So any budding writers out there (including those of you who meant to send in a post for Mummy Mentoring Month and didn’t get around to it) please feel free to send me stuff. If the readers want to see a magazine style blog with lots of different correspondents, then who am I to disappoint them?
I’m going to allow the blog to take a short break over the rest of the Easter holidays. I’m away, and I figure that a lot of you are too. But I’ll be back, big and bold, towards the end of April.
